The problem with a few things, I did not find a stamp for SatAM I liked that really just alone expressed fandom on it, I saw one on more then the games (which for me now is true, but it didn't have a SatAM feel to it) and one saying Sonic X sucks, only SatAM and to be honest while Sonic X is not my favorite show and I hate the 4Kids dub with a passion, it was a decent show in it's original Japanese version. But I just want to express my love for this show alone. SatAM was back when I was a kid, what was established as Sonic to me, even in the games, I saw SatAM as the Sonic timeline in them.

I saw every episode of Season 1 on ABC as a kid and a couple episodes of Season 2 (I was one of the shameful people who switched to Power Rangers fandom ) and I wish it got better ratings in Season 2, it may have helped something in the games of today if it did. It had a deep storyline that was dark but not cliche like, a good cast of characters, and the best incarnation of Robotnik ever, Jim Cummings is the best voice Robotnik will ever have, better then any in the games and better then in other DIC voices.

While in the games animals were in robots, as I knew they were turned into robots in the games, I saw the roboticization in the show as the closest connection to the games, and not to mention it was the ONLY Sonic show that made use of the Energy Rings Sonic used in the games, and that was a huge thing for me as Ring were a main source of power for Sonic in the video games and AoStH and SU never made use of them. Sonic X did make the same use of the rings as the games and SatAM but the story and characters were not as good as the other shows. The only thing SatAM was missing was the Chaos Emeralds, I don't like how AoStH and SU made them more like mineral stuff, as there were 7, each having a different color and the mystical creation of them with the Master Emerald (one thing I liked from both Sonic X and the Games more) and if more SatAM was made, I would hope to see that for the emeralds, okay, that was a little random .

The Comics are good, but just not AS good as the show, they never were. If you can find the show on DVD, get it, the complete series is already on DVD (and my art in one of the cases ) and if there is anything of Sonic that should be enjoyed today, it's this show.
